The first thing I noticed is that the thumbnails for the releases are messed up. That is to say, rather than using the pic intended as a thumbnail, some other uploaded pic is resized and squashed into the little space, including back cover images, which often don't look good resized like that.

How long will the server redirect old links to the new URLs? It's going to take a lot of work to edit the Webbed Hand site to reflect the new directory structures. I hope the new structure is permanent, before I start editing?

As for the netlabels page, my first feeling is that the batting average thing is not necessary. Better to just expand the "most downloaded" list. Also, the danger of starting the list of labels aphanumerically is that you're going to start getting a lot of people wanting to create netlabels with names like "0000aaa Records" just to get good positioning. I personally favored the previous thing of biggest labels, and then add a link to search or browse alphabetically.

Also, I can't seem to edit spotlight items anymore. I tried to set my latest release as the spotlight item, and the option wasn't on the edit page.

man.. I almost posted that word for word on my original post but decided to wait/forgot. Seriously.. it's eerie how close that is word for word.. im scared.

The 'biggest labels' as in terms of # of releases, has some bad trappings as well. It encourages mass uploads, seems alot of people would resort to 'singles' releases and other such things to spike this up. Also, many times those labels with the largest #s of downloads aren't the, umn,.. best ones to represent? Then again representation has never been an issue here, so thats not really a good point I guess.

Personally, I think a rotated list, sort of like the spotlight on the archive's main page, only a much longer list - would be the best solution.
